Kate Beckinsale (48) remembered her late father this Saturday. Actor Richard Beckinsale died on March 19, 1979 at the age of just 31. “I can’t remember how it feels not to miss him,” the actress wrote on the anniversary of his death. “It’s a part of me, like my blood. Ever aware of how life can shatter. May all fathers everywhere come home safe. July 6, 1947 – March 19, 1979. How much love you brought.”
The 48-year-old also published old photos showing her as a little girl with her father. The actor is best known for the sitcoms Porridge (BBC) and Rising Damp (ITV). Kate Beckinsale comes from his second marriage to Judy Loe (75), who is also an actress.
