The longest chocolate bar in the world among the activities of Holy Week in Bariloche

With a decoration in tune for the occasion, which invades the Civic Center, Miter Street and all the chocolate shops will offer a different surprise on each corner, along with artistic interventions in specially decorated giant Easter eggs.

The festival has as a tradition the preparation of the longest chocolate bar in the world, which is performed live, by 150 teachers, on Miter Street. This year will be held friday 15, with the aim of breaking its own record, reaching 210 meters long. It will then be freely distributed to the public.

This traditional festival that is celebrated during Holy Week is organized by the Chamber of Chocolatiers of the City, the Entity for the Promotion of Tourism EMPROTUR, the Municipality of Bariloche and the Province of Rio Negro,

“Our National Chocolate Festival is one of the most anticipated events by both residents and tourists from all over the country. You live with family and friends; this year almost at a full opening, we will continue to take care of ourselves and enjoy a true party. We arrived after a historic summer in number of visitors and we expect a wonderful winter as well”; explained the Secretary of Tourism of Bariloche, Gastón Burlón.

“Each of these festivals contributes to promoting our destination along with its gastronomy, spaces, local and provincial products that attract visitors from all over the country and make us grow as a tourist destination,” concluded the official.
