In an interview, Leni Klum reveals what her favorite shoes are and what else she wants to achieve besides modelling.
Leni Klum (17) made her model debut just a year ago, and now she has already put together a Fila sneaker collection for Deichmann and shot her first TV commercial for it. In an interview, the up-and-coming model revealed which shoes should never be missing in her wardrobe – and which path she wants to take in it.
“It felt a little crazy at first”
As the daughter of top model Heidi Klum (48) and ex-Formula 1 manager Flavio Briatore (71) and with adoptive father singer Seal (59), Leni Klum is used to the limelight. “But standing in that light felt a bit crazy at first,” she says, looking back at the start of her career. And assured: “I definitely love it, it’s so much fun, I have the best job with the best people, I wouldn’t want to change anything.”
She also likes to give up her free time for this: “The weekends are for work and the weekdays for school,” says Leni Klum. But her job doesn’t feel like work: “I can do what I love to do all day long,” says Leni, explaining her passion. “It feels like a fun day to me, like Disneyland on the weekend.”
Leni’s style: relaxed and oversized
In addition to modeling, she must have enjoyed working with Fila a lot. As a big sneaker fan, Leni has about 16 pairs in her closet: “I have more sneakers than any other type of shoe.” White platform shoes are her favorite style: “I want a little more size, so most of my shoes have about an inch of platform.”
So that the shoes also match the rest of the looks in her wardrobe, Leni Klum based the collection exclusively for Deichmann on her own style: “My style is very relaxed and relaxed. Everything is oversized, comfortable clothes that you wear every day I think sneakers go perfectly with that.”
Great plans
In addition to the modeling job and putting together collections, school still has top priority for the soon to be 18-year-old. She hopes to be able to go to college soon: “I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve already sent off the applications and we are all very excited about which college I will go to.”
She then wants to pursue a whole new passion at university: “In fact, I’m going to study interior design and art. I have the feeling that a lot of people don’t know that about me. I love interior design, it’s a new interest of mine.”
