Elon Musk (50) is a real star entrepreneur. The man behind companies like Tesla and SpaceX is the richest person in the world. However, his relationship with the musician Grimes (34) is tricky. In an interview with “Welt am Sonntag” he now admits that he is not completely happy.
The on-off relationship between the musician and the entrepreneur is opaque. Although the two had only recently become parents again, the 34-year-old said that they had separated again. Musk and Grimes have two children together: son X Æ A-12 Musk (aka “X”), born in May 2020, and daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, born in December 2021 by surrogate. When asked about her relationship status, she told Vanity Fair that there was no right word for it.

“I think there are different degrees of love. But in my opinion, to be really happy, you have to be happy both at work and in love,” Musk told the “Welt am Sonntag”. “I guess I’m half happy, then,” he admits. And he explains: “There are times when I feel lonely, yes.” He believes that most people are not happy “when they are alone”.
Musk continues: “I’m sure everyone has times when they’re lonely.” For example, when he’s working on his rocket, “living alone in my little house, especially when my dog isn’t around, I feel pretty lonely because I’m alone in a little house with no dog.”
Elon Musk can’t just buy a coffee
Its popularity also brings difficulties. Musk is currently ranked one of the richest people – with an estimated fortune of currently more than the equivalent of 233 billion euros. .
This popularity makes it “difficult to buy a coffee on a corner,” explains Musk. “It’s difficult to go to places, or at least go to a store or walk down the street.” In restaurants, he tries to “find a corner table that’s dimly lit or something where I don’t draw attention to myself.”
