Near Villa Elisa, the traditional General Branch Warehouse “El Francou”, preserves the history and customs of more than a century. This site is 115 years old and during this period it did not close its doors to the public at any time. It is still preserved by its owners and is located in Colonia El Carmen, 16 kilometers from Villa Elisa. With a great tourist interest, the place was declared cultural heritage of the province of Entre Ríos. Even today it continues to function as a general store for locals in the area who are supplied through the barter system.
