As a celebrity with a high number of followers on Instagram, you have a special responsibility. Some celebrities use their reach to provide information, others prefer to hold back in terms of socio-political issues. The first group includes superstar Jennifer Aniston.
Jennifer Aniston doesn’t believe in vaccination opponents
The “Friends” star regularly shares data and facts about the corona virus, more precisely: about the corona vaccination, on his profile. In May she got the second dose herself and happily shared the moment with her fans. Now Aniston has revealed in an interview with the magazine “In Style” what she thinks of all those people who refuse to be vaccinated.
“There is still a large group of people who are against vaccinations or who just don’t want to listen to the facts. It really is a shame,” says Aniston, explaining that this attitude also affects her personal circle of friends and employees. “I just lost (…) a couple of people who refused or didn’t disclose [ob sie geimpft wurden oder nicht], and that was regrettable, “she says. In doing so, she appeals to the responsibility that each individual has in the pandemic: to protect themselves and others, especially those who cannot be vaccinated.
She has a responsibility
You would have a job as a celebrity. “I think it is a moral and professional obligation to provide information, because we are not all vaccinated and tested every day. It is difficult because everyone has a right to their own opinion – but many opinions are based on nothing other than fear or Propaganda, “explains Aniston.
She would also understand why many people may no longer want to find out more. “We all went through news fatigue, panic fatigue, during the pandemic hoping to wake up one day and hear something hopeful, but all we got was even more insane,” she says.
It seems clear to them: In order to defeat the madness, you need the vaccinations. And she likes to use her reach for that.
