The raid took place last night, around 11 p.m., in an apartment on the fifth floor of a building located at 2650 Moreno Street, in Mar del Plata, as part of an investigation carried out by the Thematic Narcotics Prosecutor’s Office, whose owner is Leandro Favaro, endorsed by the Judge of Guarantees Lucrecia Bustos.
The investigation reveals that “Coco” Shedeen, who had been living at that address for at least six months, released a gang that was engaged in the sale of cocaine, together with two other accomplices whom the sources identified as Ezekiel Rodriguez (21) and Jamil Ruiz (26).
During the procedure, money, cell phones and packages with cocaine ready for sale were seized, most of them hidden in the elevator shaft of the building.
The investigation reveals that a member of the gang went up the elevator and locked it on the upper floors, while another member opened the door on the ground floor and went down into the hole to hide or remove the drug and then divide it up.
Once the raids were completed, and at the moment in which the detainees were transferred to the police cell, the neighbors went out to the sidewalk and balconies to applaud the police work and the arrests, the sources said.
The detainees were transferred to prison unit 44 of Batán and it is expected that this Friday they will be investigated in Mar del Plata Courts for the crime of “possession of narcotics for marketing purposes.”
“Coco” Shedeen had already been in a drug dealing case in 2019 and was released from prison awaiting trial.
In that previous case, the investigations determined that Schedden played an important role in a bowling alley on Corrientes Street at 1600, also in Mar del Plata, inside which drugs were sold, the spokesmen said.
