Ex-jungle camper Linda Nobat (27) is apparently suffering from malaria. The reality TV participant said on Friday. The day before she had already shown herself crying in her story. She was in a hospital far away from her hometown of Hanau, she explained afterwards. “I have blood poisoning,” the 27-year-old continued. It is not yet known how this came about.
On Friday she reported back from the clinic and said that she had had a “hell night”. “It’s really what I thought: I have malaria and I’m going to be transferred to another hospital.” She had already expected the diagnosis. Linda Nobat had spent some time in Cameroon in Central Africa in March.
Malaria is transmitted by mosquitoes
Malaria is a tropical disease that is transmitted by the Anopheles mosquito and causes flu-like symptoms such as bouts of fever.
Linda Nobat took part in the RTL dome show “Der Bachelor” in 2021, but could not conquer Niko Griesert’s (31) heart. In 2022 she was a candidate for “I’m a star – get me out of here!” and ended up in seventh place.
