The delta variant of the corona virus has been detected in three stadium spectators at the European Championship game between Denmark and Belgium. The Danish Health Minister Magnus Heunicke and the Patient Safety Authority therefore asked 4,000 spectators from six specific stadium blocks to have a PCR test done on Wednesday evening.

The Delta variant B.1.617.2, which first appeared in India, is considered more contagious than other Corona variants.
