Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will be part of the final season of “Better Call Saul”

“I don’t want to spoil things for the audience, but I will say that the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we going to see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of avoiding it, I’ll just say yes,” the producer said.

Gould invited fans to “discover for themselves” the circumstances of these appearances, although he avoided offering further details, according to the specialized site Variety.

“It would be a shame if the show ended without [Cranston y Paul] appeared, right?”, Vince Gilligan, another of the creators, had suggested days ago.

For his part, Bob Odenkirk, who plays the leading role of lawyer Saul Goodman, pointed out that the two shows “are more intertwined than ever” in this final season: “And I think that’s the most amazing and cool thing, and it will make want to see ‘Breaking Bad’ again,” he added.

The AMC chain, the series’ production house, announced the premiere of the final season -which will be divided into two parts- for April 18, with the first broadcast of two consecutive chapters of the story that follows the life of lawyer James McGill and his transformation into Saul Goodman, the lawyer advising Walter White in the celebrated “Breaking Bad.”

The end of the story was scheduled for 2021, but the restrictions due to the pandemic delayed the plans of the producers, as happened in almost the entire audiovisual industry in the world.

In addition, in July 2021, Odenkirk, the protagonist, suffered a heart attack in the middle of the set, so his recovery should also have been expected.

In turn, the company also announced the animated series “Slippin’ Jimmy,” which, with animation from the creators of “Rick and Morty,” will follow in the footsteps of a young James McGill and his friends in Chicago.
