Since its premiere in 2016, Stranger Things is a recognized global phenomenon with more than 65 awards and 175 nominations, including Emmy, Golden Globe, Grammy, SAG, DGA, PGA, WGA, BAFTA awards; a Peabody Award; the AFI Program of the Year Award; the People’s Choice, MTV Movie & TV and Teen Choice Awards, and many others. The series, a three-time Emmy Award nominee for best drama, is one of Netflix’s most-watched titles.

Season 3 accumulates 582 million hours viewed and ranks as the second most popular English-language series in Netflix’s Top 10, while Season 2 has 427 million hours viewed and ranks at #10 Stranger Things is created by the Duffer Brothers with production from Monkey Massacre Productions and 21 Laps Entertainment. The Duffer brothers are in charge of executive producing the series, in collaboration with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen of 21 Laps Entertainment, in addition to Iain Paterson.
