Like every year, the list is made from the comments and opinions that users leave on the travel platform.
“These are the beaches that travelers dream of throughout the year,” TripAdvisor said. And it’s real. Above all because of the context: after months of isolation and with the coronavirus entering a less alarming stage, who doesn’t feel like lying on a beach again and looking at the sea?
The crystal clear waters and golden sand are a trend at the time of the election, and of course, as expected, the winners are one more beautiful than the other. In first place was Grace Bay Beach, which is located in the Turks and Caicos Islands. This Caribbean archipelago depends on the United Kingdom and is 180 kilometers north of the Dominican Republic.
On the other hand, and fortunately for Argentines, our neighbor Brazil is very well represented in the ranking, with three beaches in the top 10. In fourth place is Quarta Praia (Morro de São Paulo); in the seventh, Baia do Sancho (Fernando de Noronha); and in the ninth, Baia dos Golfinhos (Pipa).
Another recurring destination among tourists from our country, Cuba, was also highlighted by the Traveler’s Choice awards: its famous Varadero beach came in second place on the list. And Aruba, another Caribbean island, also appeared in the ranking, with Eagle Beach in fifth position.
Here is the list of beaches to keep in mind this year:
- Grace Bay Beach (Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands)
- Varadero Beach (Cuba)
- Turquoise Bay (Exmouth, Australia)
- Quarta Praia (Morro de São Paulo, Brazil)
- Eagle Beach, Aruba
- Radhanagar Beach (Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India)
- Baia do Sancho (Fernando de Noronha, Brazil)
- Trunk Bay Beach (St. John, US Virgin Islands)
- Baia dos Golfinhos (Praia da Pipa, Brazil)
