Asap Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, is considered a suspect in an incident on November 6 last year in Hollywood. The bail was set at $550,000 (around €507,000), the Los Angeles Times reported. According to the newspaper, investigators searched the rapper’s home in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The rapper, who grew up in the Harlem district of York, was convicted of assault in 2019 after a violent incident in Sweden. He was held in custody for around four weeks, but he managed to avoid a longer prison sentence. This was preceded by an argument in Stockholm in which the musician and two of his companions beat up a man on the street.
