See mom in a movie on TV? In that regard, Keira Knightley’s six-year-old daughter is giving her mother the cold shoulder.
British actress Keira Knightley has yet to find a fan in her daughter. “She hasn’t the slightest interest in seeing me on TV in any way,” the 37-year-old told US magazine “People” about her six-year-old daughter Edie.
“I was working on a version of The Nutcracker a few years ago and she actually came with me to film it when she was three; So I thought, oh, maybe she wants to see that this year?”, explained the Hollywood star (“Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Pride and Advantage”). Edie also didn’t want to see her mother in the role of the pink-haired sugar fairy.
Knightley is not bothered by Edie’s lack of interest in her work: “I think that’s very healthy,” says the Brit. In addition to six-year-old Edie, Knightley and her husband James Righton also have two-year-old Delilah.
