Sandra Bullock and Daniel Radcliffe: That’s why she wanted his autograph

Sandra Bullock and Daniel Radcliffe had a blast on the set of ‘The Lost City’. In a double interview, she raves about the “Harry Potter” star.

Oscar winner Sandra Bullock (57) as a reclusive and somewhat clumsy author and “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe (32) as an eccentric villain? It’s not without reason that the action comedy “The Lost City” (in cinemas from April 21) can be described as somewhat different adventure entertainment.

The shooting of the top-class film, in which Bullock also acted as producer alongside the main character of the Loretta Sage, seemed to have been all the more fun. “It’s not always easy when you work together as an actor. After all, we all want to have our moments,” Bullock explains in an interview with the news agency spot on news.

Sandra Bullock: “My kids call him Dan”

With fellow actor Daniel Radcliffe, who embodies the eccentric billionaire Abigail Fairfax, there were no problems in this regard – on the contrary: “It was really, really easy with Daniel,” Bullock enthuses. She also reveals that her whole family, but especially her children, are “big ‘Harry Potter’ fans” and that there were “autographs for everyone”.

Seeing the Hogwarts hero as a villain was “intimidating” but also “brilliant”: “I was a little amazed at how quickly he could go from being such a nice man to such a bad character. Suddenly those big blue eyes disappeared “, she recalls in an interview. “It’s really intimidating when you’re there and you’re fooling around all day and then Dan – my kids call him Dan – comes on set and everyone’s all there and they’re like, ‘Oh okay, Dan’s here.'”

This is how Daniel Radcliffe’s girlfriend reacted to the film project

For Radcliffe, too, the acting of the film villain would have had a certain appeal. “Obviously, Abigail Fairfax wasn’t who I am, but I think I’ve met a lot of spoiled English people, so I got a feel for what makes Abigail tick,” explains the Brit in an interview with spot on news.

When he got the offer for the film with and from Bullock and read the script, he first told his girlfriend Erin Darke (37) about it. She was enthusiastic: “We are both fans. She just said: ‘You have to do it! The script doesn’t matter, it will be good. You have to do it!’ It was a very easy decision for me.”

Channing Tatum and Brad Pitt ‘are two hardcore womanizers’

In addition to Bullock and Radcliffe, Hollywood stars Channing Tatum (41) and Brad Pitt (58) also have a role in “The Lost City”. “They’re two hardcore womanizers, of course,” Bullock enthuses in an interview. According to the actress, the two “did their job well”: “They make their job look so easy because they put a lot of effort into it. Their work ethic is out of this world. They work incredibly hard.”

Did Tatum and Pitt make the crew sweat too? At least for Radcliffe, that was one of the biggest challenges filming in the jungle: “It was really hard for me to make it look like I wasn’t sweating that much.” Bullock, on the other hand, especially remembers the day “when we were shooting the scene with Channing and Brad where I’m sitting in a wheelbarrow – with a pathetic look on my face”. They were running out of time because of the daylight and the explosion in the background was the biggest challenge. “But we did it, with just one try. What’s in the film was the only take we did,” Bullock said. “It’s very satisfying when it works,” she smiles.

That’s what “The Lost City” is about

Brilliant but reclusive author Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock) has spent her career writing about exotic locations in her popular romance and adventure novels – hero of her stories, handsome cover model Alan (Channing Tatum), who also in real life dedicated its existence to impersonating the main character “Dash”. While on tour to promote her new book with Alan, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) who hopes she can lead him to the treasure of the ancient lost city from her latest novel. In addition to Alan, Loretta also comes to the aid of Jack Trainer (Brad Pitt).
