In addition to the intense program of activities and cultural proposals, towards the end of the Biennial, which closed its doors this Sunday, the winners of this edition’s awards were announced, whose distinctions consist of scholarships for training in different disciplines, either residencies , tutorials or participation in other types of training programs.
In the Short Story and Poetry category, Rocío Fernández Doval, Tatiana Cibelli, Nicolas Gighonetto and Verónica Volman winners were chosen for a residency scholarship in Isla de Río. In Performing Arts, residencies were also awarded to be held at Archivos Inesperados and those selected were Jorge Thefs, Ariel Bar-on, Milena Loguercio, Samanta Leder and Max Suen.
In Visual Arts, the winners were Yamara Goldenderg, Ainelén Bertotti Burket and Nicolás Rodríguez Sosawhile in the Music category, the award involves advice on management and communication and the selected bands and soloists were Hollywood Bungalows, Jimena Gonik and Livia.
Lastly, the Audiovisual Arts of the Biennale were awarded with scholarships and accompaniments in different training spaces, which went to Thales Pessoa, Lucia Sbardella and Lucila Podesta.
In addition, the three winning projects of the novel call were announced, which will be published by the publishers Conejos, Marciana and Odelia. They are “Kicks in the mouth” by M.Conur, “Cow won” by Ariel Adler, and “Close to the sap” by Marina Do Pico.
