Jane Stevens was married to newspaper publisher Sir Jocelyn Stevens (1932-2014) from 1956 to 1979, who employed Antony Armstrong-Jones (1930-2017), Margaret’s husband from 1960 to 1978, as a photographer for his Queen magazine. Jane Stevens was a close confidant of the princess until Margaret’s death in 2002. According to the Daily Mail, she once even acted as her chauffeur, although she had never driven a Rolls-Royce before.
“She was passionate about many things. She loved horse racing and was really good at tennis, which she played until two years ago. She will be missed very much,” Pandora Delevingne said of her mother.
