“At the center of each of the four sequels will be the Sully family. Each story will stand on its own and each will come to its own conclusion,” added the Oscar-winning producer. There will be a “satisfying resolution to each movie, but when viewed as a whole, the journey through all four will create a larger epic saga,” he added.
“The journey through all four films will create a connected saga,” Landau said, “To achieve our goals, we need a strong partnership with you and the studio… an end-to-end community.”
Cameron was from Wellington, New Zealand, where he is filming, expressing sympathy for the exhibit about his struggles during the pandemic.
He assured: “I just want you to hear it from me. Jon and I are here to work with you. The best way is to deliver content that is an unmissable experience at the cinema.”
The Oscar-winning filmmaker said he was “working hard to put the finishing touches on the film.”
The new films are “pushing the limits even further with higher frame rates, higher resolution 3D and more reality in our visual effects. I wanted our return to Pandora to be something really special. Every shot is designed for the biggest screen, highest resolution, and most immersive 3D available. I think we did it,” Cameron added.
The trailer will be screened exclusively in theaters alongside the new Marvel “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, which opens next week, starting May 5. A week later the trailer can be seen online.
