Amber Heard (36) fired her PR team. According to the report, the actress, who is currently on trial for defamation against her ex-husband Johnny Depp (58), is unhappy with the bad headlines being generated about her as a result of the trial.
“She doesn’t like bad headlines,” a source is quoted as saying. She said she was frustrated that her story wasn’t being told effectively. So far, Heard has been represented by the strategy and marketing agency Precision Strategies. Now she is said to have switched to the PR company Shane Communications in Los Angeles.
Elite security company hired
The move comes just before Heard himself will take the stand to testify. Just last week, Heard hired an elite security firm. According to Depp, she and her legal team have been massively threatened. Depp alleges in court that Heard defamed him when she described herself as a victim of domestic violence in a 2018 op-ed piece for The Washington Post.
