Jamie Dornan celebrated his 40th birthday wildly – including on a mechanical bull. Apparently, the actor has fulfilled a man’s dream: a party with a cowboy theme, as he shows on Instagram.
Dornan can be seen wearing a cowboy hat and suede jacket riding the bull one-handed. After a few turns, he falls off the rodeo simulator to the laughter of bystanders.

“This is 40,” the actor writes about the video and posts a bull, a cowboy and a birthday cake as an emoji. Numerous celebrities congratulated under the post, including director Drake Doremus (39), “Queer Eye” star Tan France (39), presenter Laura Whitmore (36), model Helena Christensen (53) and musician Finneas (24).
The actor, best known for his role in ’50 Shades of Grey’, was having a good last year in his 30s: for his role in ‘Belfast’ he received his first Golden Globes nomination in March. He also worked on the film with Judi Dench (87) and Ciarán Hinds (69), among others, which he proudly referred to as a “home run”.
