His older brother is Michael Cantilo (from the remembered duo Pedro y Pablo, together with and Jorge Duriet, and the later group Punch), popular for songs like “La Marcha de la Bronca”.
The singer had dabbled in the ’60s with a folk-acoustic style in pubs and festivals in Buenos Aires, until in the decade she decided to move to El Bolsón, in the midst of the wave of horse racing.

He was also in a reissue of “La Marcha de la Bronca” in 2004 with his brother Miguel and in 2011 he released a new album, “Esencia”, which was produced by his son Gaspar Benegas, guitarist for Indio Solari.
