Jackass Forever, the fourth film in the long-running franchise, debuted atop the US box office in February with a slightly better-than-expected gross of $23.5 million. The film included classic cast members such as Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Danger Ehren and Preston Lacyas well as several new faces, such as Rachel Wolfson, Sean “Poopies” McInerney and Jasper Dolphin.

original series “Jackass” was a sensation on MTV for three mini-seasons from 2000 to 2001, which launched several spin-off series (including “Wildboyz” and “Viva La Bam”) and a host of movies adjacent to the main four in the franchise.

the leader of Jackass, Johnny Knoxvillespoke to Variety earlier this year about how “Jackass Forever” signals his desire to hand the reins over to a new generation of pranksters.

After a particularly gruesome hit from a bull while filming “Forever,” Knoxville said: “Those were big [acrobacias] And they could end so bad. Or worse. I have done enough. I have nothing to prove. I have children to raise. That is the most important”.
