This morning the announcement of the nominees was made by Adrienne Warren, Tony winner for best actress for TINA: The Tina Turner Musical and three-time Tony winner Joshua Henry (Carousel) and it was through the official YouTube page of the Tony Awards.
At the three-hour awards ceremony, fragments of the nominated plays and musicals will be performed in each of the categories of the 2021-22 season, which closed on May 4. The most renowned actors and actresses of the world show will participate in the ceremony.
The 75th celebration will recognize all award categories and honor incredible art from the 2021-2022 season. The Tony Awards, which honor theater professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway, are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theater Wing.
