Bill Gates has tested positive for the corona virus. “I’m lucky to be vaccinated and boosted,” he said on Twitter.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates (66) has been infected with the corona virus. The multi-billionaire announced this himself. He therefore has mild symptoms and remains in isolation. “I’m fortunate to be vaccinated, boosted, and have access to testing and excellent medical care,” he continues.
He takes part virtually in a meeting of his foundation. The Gates Foundation is meeting on this day for the first time in two years and he is lucky to be able to attend the meeting online via the Teams app. “We will continue to work with our partners and do everything we can to ensure that none of us face another pandemic,” he writes.
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
The foundation was founded in 2000 by Gates and his now ex-wife Melinda Gates (57). It is currently one of the largest charitable foundations in the world and has so far donated more than two billion dollars to fight the pandemic – mainly in poorer countries.
