Valentino celebrates his 90th birthday this Wednesday. Claudia Schiffer congratulated the Italian designer on Instagram.
In an Instagram post, Claudia Schiffer (51) honored the Italian star designer Valentino Garavani for his 90th birthday on May 11th. Alongside a clip showing photos shared with the fashion designer, she wrote, “Thank you for the many years of treasured memories and friendship. It’s always an honor to wear your beautiful designs, whether it’s on the runway or down the aisle.” The designer designed the dress for Schiffer’s wedding to Matthew Vaughn (51) in 2002. The robe can be seen in a photo in the short video.

Not only Schiffer congratulated the fashion icon on his milestone birthday. Model Elle Macpherson (58) wrote about a photo with Valentino: “You have had such a big impact on my career and have been a dear friend to me for almost 40 years – today we honor you with love and recognition.” Macpherson’s colleague Helena Christensen (53) congratulated one of the “greatest talents ever – and he’s funny too” in an Instagram story.
