In his “Late Late Show” moderator James Corden gave surprising insights into his shower routine.
To address a water shortage, the mayor of Los Angeles has urged residents to reduce their shower time. Moderator James Corden (43) seems to be a good role model in this regard. “I’ll be in and out in three or four minutes. I use soap, but I don’t wash my hair. I wash it every two months”, . To the murmurs in the audience he replied: “It’s a true story.”
Corden can hardly believe that the residents of the Californian metropolis shower an average of ten minutes. “You kidding?! What? If that’s average, does that mean there are people who stand in there for 20 minutes? Oh my god! What do you do for 10 minutes?” he wonders.

The talk star probably no longer gives his audience many such insights. At the end of April, James Corden announced that he was leaving the “Late Late Show” next year. The show, which he has hosted for seven and a half years, “changed” his life but was never to be his final stop.
“This will be my final year hosting the show,” Corden confirmed. “When I started this journey, it was always meant to be just that: a journey, an adventure. I never saw it as my ultimate goal.” He always wanted to do the show with love: “And I really think that in a year’s time it will be a good time to move on and see what else there could be.”
