In the first season, based on the homonymous novel by Liane MoriartyKidman played Masha, the manager of the Tranquillum House resort, where nine stressed-out strangers arrive from the city with the intention of embarking on a healthier mental and physical lifestyle.
During the ten days that the group remains there, Masha will carry out a monitoring and accompaniment task of an increasingly doubtful nature on her clients, who little by little begin to suspect her techniques and her approach that will soon uncover the dark secrets that surround Tranquillum House.
Along with Kidman, the list of interpreters of the first season was completed with Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, and Manny Jacintothe more.
