The series also introduces a new formula that turns anyone into a superhero for 24 hours, giving Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) a chance to level the playing field against his nemesis.
TheBoys follows a group of famous superheroes who abuse their powers for their own selfish gain and a renegade group of outlaws who try to bring them down.
At the South by Southwest festival in March, Urban teased that The Boys’ signature shocking moments will continue. “I promise you, you’ve never seen anything like it in the history of cinema,” Urban said of a previous moment. “We were bigger this season. It’s a fun and intense roller coaster.”
