Key to bringing the film to life was providing an accurate portrayal of the Comanche that would sound true to the indigenous people. An acclaimed Comanche Nation filmmaker, Myers is known for her attention and dedication to films surrounding the Comanche and Blackfeet nations and her passion for honoring the legacies of Native American communities. As a result, the film features a cast made up almost entirely of native talent, including Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush and Julian Black Antelope.
