Heard participated as Mera in several films of Warner Bros. and DCEntertainment. The actress debuted as the character in “Justice League” in what she said was a three-movie deal. The second movie was “Aquaman”in which he had a co-starring role alongside Jason Momoa and for which he earned $1 million. Heard said that she earned twice as much for the sequel, the third film in her contract, but also said that her role in the film was “a much scaled-down version.”
“They gave me a script and then they gave me new versions of the script that had taken out scenes that had action, that represented my character and another character, without revealing any spoilers, two characters fighting each other, and basically reduced my role a lot,” Heard said. “They just took out a bunch.”
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is scheduled to premiere on March 16, 2023.
