Heard then yelled at Depp not to hit her sister – and in return hit the actor with a punch. Before a bodyguard could intervene, the 58-year-old allegedly grabbed Heard’s hair with one hand. With the other, he repeatedly hit the actress in the face, as Henriquez says.

The actor lost a defamation lawsuit against the newspaper “The Sun” in Great Britain in 2020. The newspaper had described Depp in an article as a “wife beater”. Depp has denied all allegations of domestic violence.
