When Bredehoft questioned Heard on her last day on the stand, Depp’s attorney, Camille Vasquez, objected to every second question Bredehof tried to ask. The judge upheld Vasquez’s objections several times, causing Amber Heard’s attorney to falter several times. “I’m trying here, I’m trying…” Brederhoft said, sighing in frustration.

My heart breaks for her,” commented one user. All of this is said to have coincided with an incident outside the courtroom. There are said to have been loud arguments with Heard there.
Heard did not choose her lawyer carelessly: Bredehoft has worked as a lawyer in Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland since 1984. She is well-respected in the metropolitan area and her career has been recognized on a number of occasions over the course of her many years of service. Bredehoft was named Virginia’s Legal Elite and one of Virginia’s most influential women by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. According to its website, Brederhoft has been included in “The Best Lawyers in America” every year since 1997.

Heard and Amber have been at war in court in Fairfax, Virginia since mid-April. Depp has sued , to whom he was married from 2015 to 2017, for $50 million in damages. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star accuses the 36-year-old of having seriously damaged his career with false allegations of domestic violence. Heard has responded with a counterclaim against the 58-year-old, demanding $100 million in damages.
