“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”: Letitia Wright assures that the film will honor Chadwick Boseman

The road to the release of this sequel has not been without its headlines for Wright, who suffered an injury on set and was the subject of several news stories for his alleged anti-vaccine stance. Wright denied rumors that he was promoting an anti-vaccine position on set, calling the report “about my conduct” on set “completely false.”

The production of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was put on hold for nearly two months after Marvel executives said Wright suffered a broken shoulder and serious concussion on set.

Now, Wright revealed to the site Variety that the team of Black Panther faced “a lot of circumstances” and “difficult situations,” but that she’s excited for fans to see how the sequel will honor Boseman’s legacy.

“It’s an amazing way to honor Chadwick Boseman, it’s packed with exciting stuff”Wright told Variety.

“We honor him by committing ourselves to the story that he started, the legacy that he started with this franchise,” Wright continued. “And we committed ourselves every day to work hard, no matter what circumstances we faced, and we faced many circumstances, many difficult situations, but we came together as a team and we poured everything into this movie, so I’m excited for you to see it. ”.
