Son Gus was born in February – and has been breastfed by mother Mandy Moore with joy ever since.
US actress Mandy Moore (“Midway”) says she will always fondly remember the time she was breastfeeding with her young son and has published pictures of the newborn on her breast.
“Breastfeeding this little boy in the past, almost six months, was a beautiful, chaotic and oh so enriching experience that I will always cherish,” wrote the 37-year-old on Instagram.
“I am grateful to my body and grateful for the tremendous support I had (especially in the first days and weeks when I had no idea what I was doing),” Moore continued. In her communication, the actress also mentioned the unpleasant aspects of breastfeeding, such as obstructed milk or expressing pumping in order to be able to go to work. In a hashtag, she referred to the World Breastfeeding Week, which takes place between August 1st and 7th.
Moore’s little son Gus was born in February of this year. It is the first child of the actress and her husband Taylor Goldsmith, to whom she has been married since 2018.
