“Stranger Things”: for the Texas massacre, Netflix added a warning to the series

This warning will appear before the previous season recap that autoplays at the beginning of episode 1 of “Stranger Things 4” for North American viewers only.

Additionally, Netflix also edited the premiere’s description to include the note “Warning: Contains graphic violence involving children” and added “disturbing imagery” to the show’s rating notices.

Last Friday, Netflix released the first eight minutes of the series’ Season 4 premiere as a sneak peek ahead of this Friday’s official release. This opening scene shows a massacre involving Millie Bobby Brown’s character, Eleven, and shows the corpses of several children covered in blood.

Although it had already been publicly revealed before the Uvalde school shooting, Netflix decided to add a warning since that particular scene is very graphic.

Three years after the launch of its third season, “Stranger Things” It will present today the first seven episodes of the season, while chapters 8 and 9 will only land on July 1.
