“The Natural Route”: how the new website works to plan trips around the country
The new site features detailed information to choose and plan trips around Argentina. It includes 150 nature destinations from all over the country, 50 experiences to live natureastronomical tourism, adventure tourism, paleontological tourism, urban natural tourism, bird watching and wildlife watching, and also information on the National Parks and a section on scenic routes.
“Each must-see has detailed and up-to-date information on what to do in each place, how to get there, when to go, where to sleep and many other practical recommendations to organize trips”remarked the wallet.
The new site offers three other products:
- Circuits: a selection of detailed tours in various parts of the country, connecting places and natural attractions with detailed information kilometer by kilometer.
- Nature Calendar: invites you to discover what species of animals, plants and other natural wonders can be seen in each place in Argentina, month by month.
- Guide to travel to nature: recommendations on health, safety and good practices to experience safe and unforgettable trips.
In the coming weeks, the site developed with the support of the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR), will also be available in english and portuguese.
“Nature tourism is in great demand in this new stage and Argentina has unique wonders. With this focus, we carry out the program ‘La Ruta Natural’, both for promote promotion in emerging and consolidated destinations as for promote the sustainable development of each of its communities“, explained the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, Matthias Lammens.
“La Ruta Natural” is the portfolio program headed by Lammens for the promotion and development of nature tourism throughout the country. The initiative has already obtained financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for US$33 million to continue to enhance the infrastructure of our destinations.
