The location for the live show had not been determined for a long time, “The big hit beach party for the birthday” will now be produced on a sandy beach stage in the open air in the Gelsenkirchen amphitheater, Silbereisen’s management told the German press agency. Until last weekend, shows were planned at five different locations in order to be able to decide at short notice where the show could best be realized under the current conditions.
“We have all fought together to ensure that we can go live and with an audience on the air in any case, while observing all the necessary measures,” said Silbereisen. “We want to encourage all colleagues in front of and behind the stage – especially those who have got into trouble through no fault of their own over the past few months.” Prominent guests such as Andrea Berg, Beatrice Egli, DJ Ötzi and Jürgen Drews should then be on stage.
Silbereisen not only wants to celebrate his 40th birthday on August 4th on the show, but also his 30th TV anniversary. On August 10, 1991, he had his very first television appearance, it was said. ARD and ORF will be showing the show, which will also be attended by a live audience, next Saturday (August 14th / 8:15 pm).
