Fito Páez celebrates 30 years of “Love after love”

Weeks ago, the musician from Rosario had announced that in August he will record new versions of the album published on June 1, 1992 and whose emblematic repertoire of 14 songs included “Two Days in the Life”, “Petal of Salt”, “A Dress and a Love”, “Tombs of Glory”, “The Magic Wheel”, “Behind the Wailing Wall”, “Shining on the Mic” and “Roll my life”.

“It occurred to me to re-record it, in its entirety, cover it, put the same elements in different places, call other guests,” he explained in the video and stressed that the original guest list “was a miracle” that included proper names like Mercedes Sosa , David Lebón, Charly García, Fabiana Cantilo, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Ariel Roth and Andrés Calamaro, among others.

“And the omnipresent figures of Fabiana Cantilo and Cecilia Roth who gave me that framework of love to be able to develop those songs,” he added.

“Hopefully we enjoy this new trip”, he highlighted in the face of the reversion of the album which will include a tour and admitted that he still does not have the guest list “but there will be many, there will be others and surely they will be very different versions “.
