Stars like Zendaya, Tom Holland, Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have been honored with trophies at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. The awards were presented in Los Angeles, with actress Vanessa Hudgens hosting the show.
Latina star Jennifer Lopez (52, “Marry Me – Married at First Sight”) was awarded the MTV Generation Award, an honorary award for special services in the TV and film business. The “Comedic Genius” award went to comedian Jack Black.
Movie favorite «Spider-Man: No Way Home» had seven chances to win and ended up taking the top trophy for «Best Film» and the Actor Award for Tom Holland. His colleague Zendaya won the TV Actor Award for her leading role in the drama series “Euphoria”. The HBO series picked up three more trophies: Best Show, Best Fight Scene, and Best Love Affair.
Ryan Reynolds (“Free Guy”) won best comedy actor, the hero award went to Scarlett Johansson (“Black Widow”), the villain trophy to Daniel Radcliffe (“The Lost City”).
The prizes are presented in the form of golden popcorn cups, and fans vote for the winners online.
