Most company bankruptcies in the second quarter were under construction (132), in financial services / other services (120), in retail (94) and in accommodation and catering (81), according to preliminary information from Statistics Austria on Tuesday. In the areas of information and communication (20), manufacturing of goods and personal services (32 each), comparatively few cases were counted. More company registrations
Also in the second quarter of 2021 there were 15,073 company registrations, 25.2 percent more than in the same period of 2020.
