Alfred Molina and Jennifer Lee: actor and director got married

Alfred Molina and “Frozen” director Jennifer Lee got married. The colleague who played Cupid for both was present.

“Spider Man” star Alfred Molina (68) and director Jennifer Lee (49, “The Frozen – Totally Unabashed”) got married. Lee shared several pictures of the romantic day in the countryside. It shows both the bride in a sequined tulle dress with an A-line skirt and the tearful groom in a gray suit and light pink shirt with dark sunglasses and a white rose on the lapel. “We did it. We do it,” wrote the director of the series of photos.

The two owe “everything” to an actor

In a second post, Lee showed up with a special wedding guest: “This wonderful person is the reason why Fred and I met. We owe everything to him.” Actor Jonathan Groff (36) dubbed the character Kristoff in Lee’s hit “Frozen – Totally Unabashed”, which won an Oscar in 2014. Groff was already on stage with Molina in 2012 for the play “Red”. In addition, Molina lent his voice to King Agnarr, father of the main characters Anna and Elsa, in “The Ice Queen 2”.

Another member of the “Frozen” family congratulated the couple: Josh Gad (40), who lent his voice to the snowman Olaf in “The Ice Queen – Völlig Unabashed”, commented euphorically on Lee’s pictures with: “Oh my God! Yes! Congratulations! I love you so much.”

Molina was previously married to Jill Gascoine (1937-2020). Lee has a daughter with her ex-husband Robert Joseph Monn.
