“Faced with the advertisements of the Judiciary on public roads adducing modernity, presence, dynamism and transparency, we want to express our discomfort, since none of these qualities are revealed in our causes,” the organizers said in a press release.
In this context, they pointed out: “30 years ago, Ordinance 45604, which regulates our activity, was sanctioned. It was never fully complied with, permanently damaging our performance and our economy.”
In 2019, the Symphonic Band obtained a favorable ruling in Chamber 1 of the City’s Contentious Administrative and Tax jurisdiction, which “Forced the City government to pay all wage differences and raise wages”they explained.
In that sense, they pointed out that the Buenos Aires government “ignores the aforementioned final judgment.”
“Now our salary is on the poverty line, having a professional activity and providing our instruments with supplies in dollars,” they concluded from the Symphonic Band.
