“A few years ago, Turf had been invited to play in Mendoza and we met Felipe, guitarist of Los Enanitos Verdes. At that meeting, he spontaneously hung up the guitar for us and played ‘Lamento Boliviano’ with him. The magic was not long in coming and the song was almost ours”maintained the singer, Joaquin Levinton.
Some time later, inside the rehearsal room, the idea arose of returning to that version to add it to his repertoire of classics: “It was so well received by the public that we decided to record it”he added about the first collaboration that his group sealed with another Mexican group.
Meanwhile, Turf is preparing an upcoming presentation in Buenos Aires for the August 27 at the Vorterix Colegiales Theater.
