The extensive tour will then open with the double date of 20 and 21 in Buenos Aires territory, will continue on September 24 at the Plaza de la Música, in Córdoba, and will have three other stops on 25, 29 and 30 at the Movistar Arena, to then embark on a trip to the United States.
There, the artist from Rosario will perform on October 6 in Orlando, on the 8 in Miami and on the 9 in New York; he will continue the journey on the 13th of that month in Caracas, Venezuela; and he will cross the Atlantic Ocean to perform on the 25th in Madrid and the next day in Barcelona.
On November 25 it will be the turn of Montevideo, on December 2 it will pass through Santiago de Chile and, for the time being, it will close the year on the 8th and 10th at the Rosario Municipal Amphitheater.
For next year, the tour will not stop its march and will continue rolling through our country, in addition to Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the United States, Canada, Israel and various points of Europe.
It will be the opportunity to listen to classics like the song that gives the album its name, “Thelma and Louise”, “Traffic Through Kathmandu”, “Petal of Salt”, “A Dress and a Love”, “Tombs of Glory”, “The Magic Wheel”, “Brilliant on the Mic” and “Roll My life”Among many.
However, as Fito himself announced, they will surely be revamped versions, since he plans to re-record the famous album in August in Los Angeles, together with Gustavo Borner and Diego Olivero.
“The idea is to transform it, revisit it and do new things to it,” the artist from Rosario had said.
“Love after love” is not only the most successful album in Fito’s extensive artistic career, but it is also the best-selling album in the history of Argentine rock. At the time of its 20th anniversary, it had sold more than a million copies in physical format.
In addition to the large number of classics that made Fito a massive artist, the album was characterized by the large number of invited figures, among which stood out Mercedes Sosa, Charly García, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Andrés Calamaro, Celeste Carballo, Claudia Puyó and Fabiana Cantilo.
The album in its entirety had been revisited by Fito in an open-air concert held in 2013 in the Buenos Aires forests of Palermo, near the Planetarium; beyond that a large part of his songs make up his usual live repertoire.
