Justin Bieber has canceled concerts again. The US dates of his world tour would have to be rescheduled because of his illness.
Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has canceled further concert dates due to facial paralysis.
All planned US concerts of the “Justice World Tour” in June and July could no longer take place and would have to be postponed, the 28-year-old team said on the tour’s official Instagram account. The statement continued, “Justin continues to receive the best medical care possible, is optimistic about his recovery, and looks forward to returning to tour and performing for his fans overseas later this summer.” The European leg of the world tour begins on July 31 with a show in the Italian city of Lucca, according to the singer’s website.
At the end of last week, after the cancellation of several concert dates, Bieber informed his fans that he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. This rare viral disease attacks nerves in the ear and face. He couldn’t blink, laugh or move his nostril on the right half of his face, the singer said in a video message.
It’s another health setback for the superstar after multiple illnesses over the past few years have impacted his career. Most recently, he tested positive for the corona virus at the end of February and had to cancel concerts.
