Britney Spears has apparently deleted her Instagram account, the page can no longer be found. Just before that, she insulted her brother violently on the image platform.
The conflict between the singer and her brother, which was verbalized before the deletion, revolved around their wedding. Spears married her partner Sam Asghari in early June and had not invited her family. That’s what the brother seems to have commented on, as Spears’ Instagram post before the deletion said, “You were never invited to my wedding so why are you even talking? Do you really think I want my brother there who has been with me for four years forbidden to drink Jacky-Cola?”
The conflict appears to be about Spears being banned from drinking while she was in Las Vegas from 2013 to 2017 while she was under her father’s guardianship. Spears was apparently drinking again at her wedding, as the Instagram post continues: “And just for that reason I’m going to force myself to drink Jacky tonight too, then I’ll look up at the moon and say ‘Fuck You’. I know Blood should be thicker than water, but no family would do what you did to someone.” According to the tabloid magazine “Page Six”, she should have quickly deleted the posting.
Britney Spears’ Instagram account is no longer available
Shortly thereafter, Britney Spears deleted her entire Instagram account. Under the link, , there is now only the note: “Unfortunately, this page is not available. Either the link you clicked does not work or the page has been removed.”
Supporters of the #FreeBritney movement are already expressing concern about the social media move on Twitter. However, this isn’t the first time Spears has deleted her account. So far it has come back quickly every time and mostly it was just deactivated and the old content was available again after reactivating it.
Honeymoon break from social media?
It’s likely that Spears will want to take some time off from the public eye for the honeymoon after their wedding. Her and Sam Asghari’s big day on June 9th made headlines with high-profile guests, a break-in by her ex-husband and their ongoing family feud.
The singer’s ex-husband, Jason Alexander, gained access to the property before the ceremony. According to “TMZ” he is said to have been armed with a knife.
