Possible sequel?

The two “super noses”, who celebrated success in the 1980s with the four-part series, immortalized their handprints at the event and presented the book “The Super Noses and Their Films”. “We both still work. We can get up and leave the sofa immediately without it crunching,” Gottschalk explained at the event in the “Kurier” interview about a possible comeback of the duo. A screenplay for the sequel “The Return of the Super Noses” is said to already exist.

“We had the idea three years ago, and now everyone is coming around the corner, although I have to say that Tom Cruise had the idea of doing a sequel to ‘Top Gun’ for a long time,” added Krüger. He saw the film and was very enthusiastic about it, “because he actually got the hang of it with his flashbacks, where he thinks about the past, about his old buddy”. According to “Kurier”, the two German stars are now waiting for a suitable producer for the sequel. Before that, another joint appearance could be waiting for the two: Gottschalk should soon appear on “Wetten, dass ..?” Mike Krüger on his show couch.

An important part of the “Supernasen” series was missing from the 40th anniversary. The Austrian film and series producer Karl Spiehs, who in addition to “Die Supernasen” also launched the cult series “Ein Schloss am Wörthersee”, died at the age of 90 at the beginning of the year.
