Joe Biden (79) is spending the weekend in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, to celebrate his 45th wedding anniversary with his wife Jill Biden (71), which the couple celebrated last Friday (June 17). On Saturday morning, the US President, accompanied by his security guards and his wife, jumped on his bike.

As photos and a short clip show, which are available, among other things, from the British “Daily Mail”, Biden had to cope with a small mishap on the tour: the 79-year-old fell off his bike after he wanted to approach passers-by who gave him shouts of enthusiasm. He fell sideways while trying to get off his bike, but got up again a few moments later.
Beforehand, many helping hands were extended to him by the Secret Service and the rest of those present. Biden assured reporters at the scene that he was fine and that his shoes were caught in the pedals. The US President was able to get back on his bike and apparently continue his tour. As the White House announced in a statement, Biden is doing well. “No medical attention is required. The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family.”
