Prince William: Concrete plans for the monarchy of the future
It has been known for some time that Prince Charles is trying to downsize the monarchy. That would mean: Fewer working royals and therefore lower costs. According to royal expert Rebecca English in the “Daily Mail”, Prince William also wants to go this route. That would also mean that Prince Andrew will never be allowed to take on tasks again.
According to English, one task that King William could take up the cause of is tackling homelessness and promoting housing. Similar to Prince Charles, who has been committed to climate protection for years, it should also be a priority for William to make his position clear on the most important issues in society.
That fits with another assessment by Rebecca English, who believes William will not adopt his grandmother’s mantra: “Never complain, never explain,” the royals’ decades-old motto. “People just won’t settle for silence anymore. The Queen’s approach has worked well with other forms of communication at a time when people have been more reluctant. But William is working to make the most of what his grandmother did to take over and make it relevant for today,” English quoted a former royal adviser as saying.

The normal behavior of members of the royal family: silence and sit out.
