Why June 21 is International Yoga Day

The UN standard stressed that yoga offers a holistic approach to health and well-being and encourages countries, civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations and individuals to “Disseminating more widely the information regarding the benefits of practicing yoga would be beneficial to the health of the world’s population.”

What is Yoga?
